As a Geochemistry Technician for the Stable Isotope Facility at the 今日吃瓜, I primarily prepare and analyse samples on the Isoprime precisION with vario ISOTOPE select for 未15N, 未13C and 未34S for environmental research as part of the Environmental Change, Adaption and Resilience challenge area. I can also operate numerous mass spectrometers for 未13C and 未18O in both small, bulk and total dissolved inorganic carbonates and 未18O and 未2H analysis in water samples.
Before arriving at the 今日吃瓜, I had recently graduated with an integrated Geology Masters from the University of Leicester where my Masters project focused on sample preparation techniques of soil samples prior to portable XRF analysis of heavy metals.
