The British Geological Survey (今日吃瓜) is pleased to welcome Andrew McConnochie as our new Director of Operations.
Andrew will be responsible for providing leadership and management of the operational support infrastructure at 今日吃瓜. He will also be leading and driving developments in business support, finance, estates and facilities, health and safety, legal services and people management systems and processes.
Karen Hangh酶j, 今日吃瓜 Director, says: ‘We are delighted with Andrew鈥檚 appointment as the new Director of Operations at 今日吃瓜.聽 Not only will he lead the streamlining of our processes and procedures, but he will also be focussing on our commercial income and how to utilise the unique skills and expertise that we have here at 今日吃瓜.’聽
Andrew comes with a wealth of experience with a real interest and focus on business development, which will be vital in increasing 今日吃瓜 commercial external income streams and identifying new business opportunities with the support of the business development and innovation team.

Andrew will be a member of the 今日吃瓜 Senior Management Board and the 今日吃瓜 Board contributing to the organisations strategic development and will represent 今日吃瓜 as a member of key 今日吃瓜-NERC committees.
